Haunted house gives people a sense of horror and this concept has been used in many movies. Here are the best haunted mansion movies of all times that will scare the hell out of you.

The Freeling’s house in the Steven Spielberg’s movie Poltergeist was scary. Even though it was a new house, creepy things were happening, like the furniture is moving around, people are having hallucinations, etc. It is a very spooky movie and was quite famous.

In this movie, the haunted house was left to the Zorba family by one of their uncle. The house was fully furnished but had 12 ghosts! This movie could be viewed in 3D as well. 3D was a new concept then and audiences loved the feeling of ghosts coming over them!

This movie was based on Richard Matheson’s novel Hell House. In this movie, a group of psychic investigators move to a house of Belasco. Belasco was a murderer and his spirit walks around the house. The investigators set up some machines to detect ghosts and that’s when paranormal activities start.

John Russell, a composure who is seeking solitude to grieve the death of his daughter and wife rents a haunted house. There is a ghost of a murdered child in this house. The ghost pushes John to uncover the mystery behind her murder and take revenge.

A demon is haunting the Oswalt family. Oswalt is a crime writer who moves to this house with his family to write. A terrible crime was committed in this house and he hopes that it will help him write his next book. But things start to get scary soon.
